I like acoustic, and this one is just incredibly sweet. When the strings came in, it was surprising, but a nice touch. I like the lyrics, and you sing them with true emotion..

Excellent! There's a very moody atmosphere created with the guitar and the whole sound conveys such a lot of soul, especially in the vocals. Great job!

If I'd written this for my wife, you could bet I'd be in the good books for a while (instead of the usual house and getting plenty for a few weeks at least
Great chord structure and use of pads and nice vocal harmonies and delays. HAs a bit of the Allman brothers sound to the guitar, especially the dual tracked harmonizing parts where you riff off the end of the chords. cool technique !

This is beauifully produced and I love all the added touches to this, especially the beautiful strings. The melody is great, especially in the chorus when it takes on that wonderful yearning quality. Oh, and super guitar playing too! This delicate wonder is definately my favourite song of yours.

Love it mate !! What a great track. Love those strings and damn that guitar is terrific....gotta say that bass pad has a "frankie goes to hollywood" feel to it somehow ! What a mix of terrific and unexpected textures in this song !

Has a feel of 80s rock about it to me.. kind of reminiscent of Extreme in many ways. I really dig the contrasting elements of the acoustic guitar and the electronic bass/strings later - very unique.
Nice sentiment behind the lyrics too. All in all, a real achievement

Nice acoustic sound. I like the playing too.
That synth bass sound was a bit left field, but works
Great lyrics and vocals too especially some of the harmonies.
Some of the high strings sound a bit too confrontational, but not a big deal...

Most songs written for lovers usually turn out to be corney or are so personal they have no meaning to the audience but not this track. you should leave this as an acoustic track. The cool bass synth notes rock and really contrast the the whole song. I hope you keep them in the harder version Great feal tune. Awesome track Pete Yo! Catherine! ... :heatbeat: hehe

Cool, dig the strummin then the synth & double vox jump in there & make it all happen. Yep.
Easy to overlook the great songwriting when it's well decorated like that, but the lyrix are a definate strong pont in this one. Heh that guitar sounds cool when the chords hang... Hey that drum at the end is a nice touch.
