Hey Pete, you got that killer guitar tone again, you know the one from Zombie - as Bill and Ted would say 'EXCELLENT' ! Wonderful musical journey. Also great synths and pianos and nice orchestral effect with the timpani.
Very, very nice. I would like to hear Sedasia's seductive voice a couple of db's higher in the mix for even more seductive power but no mistake, this is awesome stuff !

Love the "Soul Rock Guitar" and the feeling of a journey to the other side of the Moon.

I really enjoyed everything you added to the song Pete and the guitars were great.. just loved them. Really good undertaking and turned out very well.
On a the flip side of the coin my original comments on the basic tracks this came from the still stand and it's still about vox levels but overall

FRAKING BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song was just beautiful(sadasia ) to begin with... but you pete kicked it so many notches you just blew the meter straight apart
this has got tangerene dream writen all over it i'm on my 5th listen right now and yeah the only thing that keep this from PERFECTION is that sadasia's dreamy seductive voice is to far down in the mix... other than that this just straight blows me away
man that guitar work is just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!those harmonies......

This is like having someone whisper in your ear, and you can't quite catch all the words, but you get the feeling... and it's making you smile. The atmosphere, the guitar work, all combine to create the feeling of a dream-- and when you wake you almost but not quite remember it... still, the feeling remains to haunt you.
Wonderful music, and I think the fact that the vocals are low adds to the dreamy quality.

I just love this one, a truly seamless collaboration. The guitar work is sublime especially when the harmony kicks in. This one goes straight onto my xmas playlist and I suspect it will still be getting aired well into the new year. Awesome!

This IS a beautiful track, I love the dual guitar parts, you remind me of Jerome Froese (Tangerine Dream) If only Sadasia's whispers were a tiny bit louder I love all the synth work too, and the drums
Very good collab

Aw... This is exactly how I feel about love... This is a broken heart, trying to scream out, but only able to whisper, whisper to the point where no one can hear, nor would they care if they could...
The guitars represents the screaming pain, the anger, hurt, the desperate need to find a real love, but only coming up empty... Excellent ambiance, very heartfelt playing by my boy Pete... I would like to know what Ms. Seddie was saying in her whispers, but I think the near silence of them is very significant... This is beautiful... Very good job!!

Song starts out grabbing you in and keeps you in. The melody is very catchy. The keys are dreamy The guitar really speaks to you. The rolling drum and the whispers really ad a nice touch to the track.
Outstanding collab from some of DM's favorites

Burn it up with that whammy bar Pete!!! Got a nice feel to it...Very captivating.. Kind of has a dreamy Beat It feel to it....Cool harmonized solo part. What kind of harmonizer is that? Really flows well and keeps you locked in. There is a little Eddie VH up in there for sure....Well done my friend...

Thanks for such an AWESOME comment Rocky an a very cool question...
NO HARMONISER!!!
All the harmony notes are a second guitar part played in the same key but two tones higher in the scale!!!
Glad you brought that up... I would hate for people to think I was cheating!!!

|

dude, your cheating by using a harmonizer
just kidding!!!
Very melodic gtr playing Pete and the Tympani adds a nice dramatic touch, I think I hear vocals (perhaps whispers) but they seem to be very buried in the mix or is that the effect you were shooting for???
either way this has a really cool, soundtrack vibe to it

Very atmospheric piece The guitar is the icing on the cake. I think this would probably sound absolutely awesome on cd/wav file. It's always difficult to hear all the subtle elements from an MP3. Maybe one day we'll be able to easily listen to non-compressed files on the web - then we'd all hear the full extent and ability of artist's such of yourself

This is such a beautiful track - I love the vocals, they're haunting and stunning. I think the melody is absolutely gorgeous. The lead guitar work is some of your best Pete. You and Sedasia did a fantastic job on this collab! The orchestral drums add a wonderfully dramatic effect. What a great team you two make!

WOW... thanks for the comment Ron - but no MIDI...
All instruments added are real audio recorded in real-time only (real performance played live) - MIDI is a programming art that take a real degree of skill to use without sounding in some way too precise... for this reason I stick to live audio.
BTW... thank you everyone else too for the comments.
